Don’t miss out on the opportunity to apply for the SAFE Foundation Annual Research Grant. The Foundation for Safer Athletic Fields for Everyone (SAFE) is seeking research projects to fund.
To be considered, the proposal must benefit the sports field management industry in the following area: Field maintenance or performance as it relates to the safety of the playing surface for athletes (study may be directed towards but is not limited to turfgrass health, uniformity, wear tolerance, hardness, athlete injuries, field temperatures, etc.).
SAFE is not currently accepting proposals that require multi-year funding. However, being awarded a grant one year does not disqualify your institution from re-applying for a grant in future years. So, we encourage all to apply! SAFE’s 2020 Grant amount is $15,000.
