The Professional Grounds Management Society (PGMS) presented its 2018 Gold Medal Award to SFMA on Oct. 18 at the PGMS Annual Awards Dinner. SFMA President Sarah Martin, CSFM accepted the award on behalf of the association. The presentation was held during the Green Industry & Entertainment Expo in Louisville, Kentucky.
PGMS recognizes SFMA for its leadership and its work to enhance the level of industry professionalism through education, awareness, and workforce development. The Gold Medal Award is given to an individual or entity to recognize them for outstanding and long-term achievements and/or contributions to the green industry.
PGMS is a membership society representing over 1,000 grounds industry professionals.
