During its summer meeting, the SFMA Board of Directors discussed the challenges chapters may be experiencing with the loss of revenue from in-person events. They unanimously voted to eliminate the chapter affiliation fees that chapters pay to SFMA for 2021 and 2022. The association will continue to provide the same services that those fees covered, in particular event liability insurance that many venues require to host chapter events. The Board will continue to discuss ways that SFMA can assist chapters with their challenges.
