Back October 15 is the Super Bowl for Recognition and Funds!
SFMA and SAFE have numerous programs for awards, scholarships and grants that are due on Oct. 15.
- In college in a turfgrass management program? Submit for a SAFE Scholarship, including the Dr. Watson scholarships sponsored by The Toro Company.
- Worked as an intern last summer? Get reimbursed $1000 from the Gary Vanden Berg Internship Grant.
- Have a college student who is not pursuing a degree in turfgrass management? You are eligible to submit for the Darian Daily Legacy Award.
- Are you, or do you know a Sports Turf Manager seeking continuing education? Submit or nominate someone for the Terry Mellor Continuing Education Grant, sponsored by Turface Athletics.
- Do you know someone who isn’t a member of SFMA? Direct them to apply for a Leo Goertz Membership Grant, sponsored by Pioneer Athletics
- Want to showcase your field to your peers and your community? Apply for a Field of the Year Award, sponsored by Carolina Green, Hunter Industries, Precision Laboratories and World Class Athletic Surfaces.
- Are you a commercial member with a new or enhanced product or service that will help sports turf managers or the industry? Apply for an Innovative Award.
- Know someone who embodies the characteristics of our Founders — dedication and commitment to the industry? Nominate them for a Founders Award.
