SFMA’s Board of Directors annual election for 2020 is rapidly approaching. Your Nominating Committee invites you to consider serving your association as a Board Member.
The only specific requirement is that you are a voting member in good standing with SFMA. The Nominating Committee also reviews national committee involvement, local chapter service and other community service as they prepare the slate of candidates for the membership’s vote. The term of Directors is typically two years; the At-Large Elected Director is a one-year term. Because candidates for the At-Large positions can come from any segment of our voting membership, all categories of membership are encouraged to submit an interest form.
