About the Position:
The TMG Field Consultant is accountable for supporting a sustainable business environment by assisting with creation and management of long lasting relationships with clients, architects, engineers, designers, vendors, and other key influencers.


  • Create and conduct business development activities including but not limited to: research, cold calls, meetings, site visits, proposals, presentations, follow up and meeting documentation
  • Manage a dynamic pipeline of prospects and key influencers
  • Attend tradeshows, conferences and association related events
  • Data entry into and assistance with management of Customer Relationship Management system (CRM)
  • Research pertaining to prospective client identification
  • Prospecting for leads and qualifying leads as sales opportunities
  • Participating in marketing campaigns to discover and qualify leads
  • Report generation (market updates/CRM/qualified interactions)
  • Monitors Google, Twitter, social media, etc for sports field renovation announcements
  • Lead efforts on special and/or non-typical sports field projects


  • Bachelors of Science or Bachelors of Business Administration focusing in Sales, Business, Project Management, Marketing, Sport Management, or other related majors such as Engineering, Architecture, Planning or Construction
  • 2-5 years of experience in a sales/marketing or project engineer/designer/manager role
  • Demonstrates initiative and is interested in not only nurturing current client relationships, but also seeking and developing new relationships
  • Ability to learn quickly and demonstrate enthusiasm for learning new things
  • Experience in providing excellent customer service
    Ability to problem solve and manage multiple projects/tasks
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbally)
    Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office and CRM products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Dynamics, Salesforce, etc)
  • Valid driver’s license
