TurfAssist, a division of Fisher & Son Company, provides synthetic turf maintenance, grooming and repairs for schools, athletic facilities and community centers across the Mid-Atlantic region. With safety being their top priority, TurfAssist ensures longevity and playability of synthetic turf fields.

TurfAssist seeks a motivated candidate with the ability to diagnose and maintain synthetic turf fields, manage the day to day operations, and ensure customer satisfaction.


Reporting to the President and Vice President, the Services Manager is responsible for the day to day operations of synthetic turf maintenance, oversight of crew members, and all customer relations.

Job Description
The following list of responsibilities gives a fair representation of what can be expected as the Services Manager. Given the unique variations of our company, other possible needs may arise.

  • Sell maintenance services to new and existing customers
  • Maintain the existing customer base and prospect for new customers
  • Manage the day to day operations of TurfAssist and its crew members
  • Develop schedule based on customers’ needs and field availability
  • Make repairs to fields using proper seaming methods and repair methods
  • Conduct certified Gmax tests and create reports/recommendations
  • Conduct field inspections and create inspection reports
  • Conduct training seminars to educate current and prospect customers
  • Properly maintain all turf equipment, trucks, and trailers to keep in safe working order
  • Order repair products
  • Participate in tradeshows/seminars

Required Skills

  • Willingness to operate equipment related to synthetic turf maintenance (tractor, Cushman, forklift)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Preferred Skills

  • CDL Class A license
  • The ability to understand customer needs, grooming methods, verti-top performance, different types of turf and proper maintenance practices.
