Mike Albino of Ballard Sports received the 2014 George Toma "Golden Rake" Award.
The Toma is known as the "and then some" award, because this honor goes to an individual who goes above and beyond what is required to ensure their colleagues and communities are supported. Mike received multiple nominations for the award. In them he was described by friends and colleagues as "humble," "thoughtful" and "always willing to pick up the phone to check in on someone or lend a helping hand in the community." Mike is also a driving force behind one of STMA's leading chapters, STMONY. He co-founded the chapter. Nominations also cite that he is considered a mentor to many in this industry.
