James Graff

James Graff is the co-owner of Graff’s Turf Farms, with long time production manager Marty Thiel. The business is highly automated using the most select turfgrass seeds and the most advanced processes in the turfgrass industry. James has served as a Director and as the Treasurer of the Rocky Mountain Regional Turfgrass Association, Director of the Associated Landscape Contractors of Colorado Foundation, and Chairman of the Turf Producers International/Turf Resource Center Scholarship Committee. He is also a member of the Rocky Mountain Sod Growers Association, Rocky Mountain Golf Course Superintendents Association, Golf Course Superintendents of America, National Golf Federation and the Colorado Sports Turf Managers Association. James enjoys traveling with his wife, Letty, of 14 years. They are blessed with four awesome kids, Hannah, Simon, Jacob and Rachel.

Vision for STMA:
It is a privilege and honor to be joining the board of directors for STMA. This is the best professional trade organization I have ever known. I intend to help maintain that reputation for STMA and plan to bring fresh ideas to keep members engaged and informed. In addition, it will be important to me to maintain member benefits that are relevant to every area of the profession. As a commercial director , I want to see increased vendor involvement that enhances the organization as well as the conferences and exhibition experience.
