Vision: Having entered our profession without any formal education in turf management, I appreciate the impact that STMA can have in helping our members to grow their careers. The educational resources offered by our association continue to expand. I see STMA as being the primary source for practical sports turf education in the next decade. We need to teach the things that universities do not, such as infield skin maintenance, or enhancing soccer field playability. Our association is in a position to educate people at all levels of our specialized field and improve playing conditions across the country.
