Scholarships

The SAFE Foundation Scholarship Program continues to provide funding for full-time Sports Turf students. Scholarship Applications must be submitted by October 1st each year.


2008 Student Challenge
The 4th Annual STMA Student Collegiate Challenge presented in partnership with The SAFE Foundation and Platinum Sponsor Hunter Industries will take place at the STMA Conference and Exhibition, Friday, Jan. 18, 2008, in Phoenix, Ariz. To register for the Student Challenge, simply fill out the Student Challenge section on the Conference Registration Form, which can be found here.

Certified Sports Field Managers
STMA has a vast resource of Certified Sports Field Managers that are a great resource for students to draw from.

Taking It Local
STMA Chapters are a local link to "hands-on" Turf events. Many chapters do not collect dues for National STMA Student members.

One Students Perspective of the STMA Conference and its Importance
I wanted to comment on the benefits of the annual conference in regard to students. I think the conference is an ideal situation to increase your opportunities for employment in the future.
