Education

Come and hear an excellent sports turf seminar. We will have Mike Majdan speaking on “Best Management Practices for Sports Turf “. We will also view an excellent video called “Waters Journey, The Hidden Rivers of Florida”. Justin Newell, Director of Facilities & Operations will talk about “History and Maintenance at Jacksonville University” as well as leading us on a tour of the facility. This promises to be a fun and information packed day. CEU's will be applied for.

8:00 AM We will meet at the Jacksonville University at the Davis College of

Business, we will meet in Conference room. - Coffee and donuts.

Grounds Maint / Sodehxo will talk about “The Maintenance Program at

Jacksonville University and what the future holds.

10:30 AM Outdoor sports turf equipment demonstration.

11:00 AM Tour of University Fields

12:00 PM Lunch (Sponsored by Kilpatrick Turf)

1:00 PM CEU Forms / Door Prizes / Adjourn

From I-95 Take Exit 353B for Union Street towards US 90 Alt. Continue on Union Street to US 90 East. Take State Road Highway 109/ University Blvd Exit. Go North to Jacksonville University Campus on Left. Proceed to the Davis College of Business, we will meet in Conference room

Participants: Call John Mascaro at (850) 580-4026 before Friday, July 25th to reserve your space. You can call 24 hours a day and leave a message on the machine. We need a count for lunch.
